Matt Hoy began his bookselling career at Dymocks in Chatswood and has worked for Collins Booksellers, Better Read Than Dead and Shearer’s. His first job in publishing was with Oxford University Press, before becoming a field sales person with Allen & Unwin. He went in house to become their Marketing Designer but was eventually lured back into Sales and the role of Senior National Account Manager. He then became the Sales and Marketing Director at Hachette Australia before returning to A&U where he is currently the Group Sales Director responsible for all A&U’s sales functions including Books for Children and Young Adults.
